Black screen startup then crash
It's been 5 days haven't been able to boot up the game, tried everything I know including verify the game files, reinstall the game, restart pc reset pc etc non of them work, is it because I have a potato 4070 super+13400f instead of a high end 7090 ti+r9 12950x3d?

Have you tired to turn off low latency mode in NVIDIA control panel in section ->manage 3D settings? *Restart your PC after this change.

I am so sorry to hear that you've been experiencing game crashes.

Do you get any error messages when the game crashes? If so, do you mind sending us a screenshot of the error?

Is the game installed on the same drive as Ubisoft Connect/Steam?

That thing is off by default, I tried turning it on the game still crash

No error code at all, just black screen, stuck for a minute or 2 then crash to desktop, the only thing pops up is the ubi app syncing saves and that's all

Tried all the solution in the link and some not in the link and those did nothing, the only thing I haven't try is reinstall windows

thanks for getting back and I'm sorry to hear that the issue is still present.


Can you try running the windows system file checker which finds and repairs issues with some core windows files?

a) press the windows key + s
b) search for command prompt and right click on it and run as administrator
c) type the following command as it appears sfc/scannow
d) press enter and wait for the tool to check the system files, this might take a little while
e) after completion close the tool and try to launch the game

Just did that, rebooted and same, tried 3 times

Nvm game just boot up on the 4th time, thanks for the assist
