Mic on Headset Sounds like Complete Trash

Yet in any other voice chat, whether it be discord or other games, there's absolutely no issue with my mic. People keep saying that my "gain" is too high. I have no complaints about quality using my headset anywhere else. I've tried tweaking the settings in RB6 to no avail. I'm using Turtle Beach Earforce x12. Can anyone help me solve this issue? Thanks.

Make sure your voice chat threshhold in your R6 settings isnt maxed out. Sometimes for some people R6 will just randomly reset it, hopefully that just got looked over. Have to change mine once every few months.

Also if you do launch it with steam press shift f2 access your steam friends click the series wheel and click mic select the usb mic your using or the mic your using that may not be a usb and either adjust the output/input and to add to that open r6 and make sure how loud you choose your mic to be to finalize that the voice threshold should be at a nice 5

Dild4u, so I have that issue too. After this new update, it seems to stay at the low volume I have it set at, so that's good. But my buddy says that doesn't solve the problem.
