Low FPS?
Is anyone else getting low fps on this? I've tried turning everything to low settings and even changing to a lower resolution but the game still just has a ton of game lag. I can't imagine it being my pc as I run CS:GO at 140+ frames and (imho) that game looks graphically better. Everything in this game looks grainy and blurry (Even when I set the resolution to 1920x1080).

Make sure it is running your card and not your CPU. I don't know your setup so I am not some expet but I did have frame rate issues and in the menu on the bottom right it said it was using integrated graphics, had to go into the nVidia control panel and switch it to my card. Runs on Ultra now. If my laptop can I am sure you can as well.

I've tried to do that but it still says it's using my onboard CPU.

Right-click on the games .exe and run using your nvidia processor.

You can change this to run GPU by default by going into Nvidia's control panel and finding the "Set PhysX Configuration" and make it select GPU rather than auto select.

Process is likely similar if you have an AMD

your graphics card might no be able to handle it if you are trying to run it on ultra.
i am able to run between 50-65 fps on siege but i also run csgo at 250fps csgo is not a demanding game like siege

Nah my GPU can handle it. Not at Utlra, but it's playable. For some reason even though I've set the default GPU to my Nvidia processor and even right-clicked the exe and started it saying to use the Nvidia processor in the graphics options at the bottom right it says it's using the onboard graphics cpu. However, after getting fed up with that not changing I thought that maybe it actually is using the Nvidia processor now and tested the game. So now it is running much better and is actually using my GPU but for some reason says it's using onboard graphics.

Whats your specs? A potato can run cs go at 140+ fps
csgo LMAO even a pice of ♥♥♥♥ gtx550ti gets 140+fps on htat thing This game is far more demanding you need a 2gbvram+ the texture work is really good
I don't know whether you have fixed your problem with your fps yet because i had he same problem, what i need to do is every time i start the game i have low fps and mouse lag so i have to ctrl+alt and delete bring up task manager and then alt tab back to the game and the fps is high and mouse lag is gone. hope this helps anyone
And i only have a gtx 460 768mb version because my 760 2gb decided it ad had enough and just out of warranty. I've just got the graphics on low and my resolution set at 1680-1050

I've experienced this myself. Lag at the start of a round, ALT-TAB out of the game and go back and buttery smooth FPS. But it doesn't happen all the time.

Any source game will run on a dead cat in a box (even an old Intel HD graphics chip can play CSGO/L4D2 at 720p med/high details with 60fps. While this isn't BF4, it looks as good to me as most COD games like MW3, Black Ops, and Ghosts. It certainly looks better to me than the very very dated graphics of CSGO where even crouching looks somewhat awkward to this day.

So something interesting happened to me along these lines. For the past month, i've been playing at over 100FPS on Ultra on my GTX 980. Had ZERO issues. Today I loaded the game up and it wont break the 25 FPS mark. Im STUMPED. Going to give the alt tab a trick, but its sort of insane.

So, wanted to update with my issue. It seemed that my GPU clock was locked at 405 (I kicked up Precision X to look at the clocks and mem consumption to verify with Logitech ARX was telling me). Did everything under the sun to try and correct - but clock stayed at 405. I ended up uninstalling Precision X and blammo - clock freed up and shot up to 1277 mhz. The game runs even FASTER now.
This is actually the same solution as the alt-tab trick people have been mentioning. In essence, it 'frees up' the gpu and makes it remember to go full bore in the active application, rather than getting stuck on a background app.

tl;dr - remove any 3rd party overclocking or tuning tools as they may be hindering more than helping.

Looks like it's the the same thing with me.
I've been successfully and smoothly played closed and open beta. The framerate was high on ultra and everything was excellent, smooth and enjoyable.
But I've bought the full game now and fps is much much lower then in the betas. And in some cases it drops extremely low and it makes hard to play overall.

I'll try to [ctrl]+[alt]+[del] or [alt]+[tab] trick later, don't know if it helps...

Core i5-2500K
RAM 8GB
AMD Radeon 280X

cs go doesn't look better than rainbow six siege, cs go is the best optimized fps game for pc, you can run it with 256 mb graphicscard, 140 fps in cs go is nothing

i can run rss on meduim-high with a r9 270x, 8gb ram, i3-4160

Lol, 140 fps in CS:GO isn't anything. And CS:GO looks like ♥♥♥♥ compared to this game.
You didn't even list your specs, imbecile.
