Make shield players UNABLE to shoot!

I think that would balance the currently way too op game winining no skill shield fact in game. Introducing more explosives etc to counter the shield is not a good idea because i think it would unbalance the game with regards to further destruction of environment in my opinion.
What are your thoughts?

all shield bearers carry pistols lol, whats the point of making entry if you arent armed? what would be stupid OP on shields is if they had glock18 auto pistols built in :)

well im sorry to say it but your brain seems to be too small to be capable of much thinking around this change.
shields can enter the combat protecting their teammates behind them and so on. shields should be armed with postol but they shouldnt be able to shoot and be protected with shield at a same time. you can use pistol while your shield goes on your back. I think that would be a good solution.

What? This is the stupidiest ♥♥♥♥ I've heard all day. Shields cant even aim down sights with pistol while equiping a shield and hip-fire is basically useless, so taking away the gun with shield use makes the shield have no purpose whatsoever. You sound like you're making a complaint because you got killed by a shield lol.

The Shield is Balanced. They have a shield but they are much slower and only have a pistol but to have a clear shot they have to peek out of the shield.

you're all bunch of morons, ive been actually on the other side of this issue where ive been abusing my wins after win by using shields. that shield with no aim down that that your talking off can headshot you from 20 feet and kill you with one bullet. for people who have played the game and are actually decent players they will clearly see how simply over powered the shield is and there are very few counters to it right now almost to none if you wanan disclude the peasentry c4 bomb that you can have 1 and can be removed very esaily.

also you have to hipfire to shoot while being protected soooo... you can't aim very well in hipfire mode and t oaim you peek out of the shield. leaving yourself vulnerable :P

They just need to change pistol handling when firing from behind the shield. Right now it is a little too accurate, even when spraying medium range targets.

that+ introducing more equipment to counter the shield to all classes and limit them or better solution just get rid of gun while shielding!
