help - DX11 not starting via shortcut
Been having issues launching Rainbow Six Siege in DirectX 11 even though I have the desktop shortcut set up. The game still launches using DirectX 12, and I would like to know if there is a command line or any other command line to force the game to launch in DirectX 11 every time.

So far, I’ve tried adding -dx11 in the Steam launch options for the game but it still defaults to DX12 when launched from the desktop shortcut.

Does anyone know if there is a specific command line or workaround to always launch the game in DX11 or if there's something else I need to do?

Unfortunately this is an unsolvable bug, the only way is to open it through Steam by selecting the DX11 option in the launcher... but at least with the change in the standard API being DX12 from the next season, this problem will have its solution.

According to patch notes they completely removed DX11. Only 12 now.
Is that the cause of stutters? I've just returned to the game.
I still have dx11 selected in my start launch parameters i wonder if itll keep it like that.
