Rainbow hit registration help

I play on console, PS5. I took 6-8 months off due to servers/MNK on console. I came back today to play a little. I’m finding an annoying issue I’m hoping others can relate to or provide a solution.

I start the game fine. Played multiple ones today. Out of nowhere my hit reg starts to take a dump. I literally have to shoot behind people to get a shot to register. My replay shows me shooting behind someone with the x registering and blood on their head. It’s odd. I had this issue before and it’s continued now.

Prior to leaving I had spectrum 1 gig internet. Since then I’ve switched to ALLO and have 2.3 symmetrical speeds. Every other game runs just fine.

Has anyone else encountered this or found a solution?
