Strict NAT type all the damn time!!!
What is this!? I cannot fix it.. HELP!

I have forwarded countless ports that people have posted that claim to fix the issue, still strict.

The only time it isn't is when I reset my net. But the next day, it's strict again!?!?!?!

I think it's something with the PC version of the game. I have this on PC and PS4 and on PC it's strict and on the PS4 it's open. Both are on the same router, and I don't have a DMZ set.

What kind of Router/Modem do you have? 3rd party or Comcast?

Is that Cable company box rented? Sorry i'm not familiar with UK ones. I know for sure Comcast Modem/Router combo were problematic.

Chances are you have a dynamic ip set for your network card, so forwarding ports is pointless.

For starters Virgin media are asshats. I am also with VM

You have forwarded a lot of unnecessary ports and you have forwarded both udp and tcp when you dont need to.

Check your computers IP address on your network this should be 192.168.0.2 make sure this is the same IP on the port forwarding. What can happen is when you PC is off and another pc or device attachs to your network it can take the IP when your pc is switched back on it will go to IP 192.168.0.3 and your ports are no longer forwarded. To keep the port for your PC set up the DHCP reservation.

My IP is static :(

your ip being static has nothing to do with it go into your router and look for DHCP reservation and make your PC stick to 192.168.0.2 that way your home network ip wont change. your router 192.168.0.1 so you cant reserve that slot.

home/advanced settings/DHCP/DHCPreservations tick the box that is for your PC and scroll down to add reservation and add it! the network IP which will be 192.168.0.2 should be the same as the portforwarded IP or it wont work.

you are using the superhub2 which is the same as mine.

This whole NAT thing is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥...

If you own an xbox, it's the xbox that is causing the problem. You have to continuously erase the Teredo service from your port forwards after logging into your live account to play.

I have quit gaming 31 ENE 2016 a las 4:08 a. m.
Ubisoft strikes again. :)

Taking all our money because we love gaming on the pc while they actually only care about consoles. So they give us an unoptimized ports just like they did with AC:Unity, Might and Magic & Watch dogs.

I hope you get it fixed, good luck!

no problems here at all, didn't have to configure anything in my router to get any game to work, ever.

put your ip as a dmz host

I thought that open all ports though? Isnt that unsafe..

Yes, it is. Doing that bypasses every security function your router provides and exposes your system to a great deal of risk. It's a useful troubleshooting tool, but it's not really a practical solution in and of itself.

That's pretty damning evidence that the PC version is a broken, poorly made console port.

I'm playing the tech support dance to get them to admit that the game is unable to work as advertised. I bought two copies of the game to play with a friend on the same house network. The first time I sent a tech support complaint their response was tell me to "give him a static ip" which, depending upon how you interpret it, is either a solution that won't do a thing to solve the problem or else would require me to completely rewire my house ethernet to add a second line *and* require me to purchase a second router.

Until their system requirements specify that the game requires a unique external IP for each copy running, the game should never require such extreme steps. Either they fix it, or they admit that it's broken and refund my money.

I have a huge library of games. I don't have to change any settings in my router for any of them except this game. Forwarding ports sounds really risky according to most places I've searched on the internet, yet I have to do that just to play? Forgive me for not knowing about this, but what makes Siege different that I have to go messing around with my router's settings and security?
