Forced windowed mode

So I cannot get this game to play in full screen. I haven't seen it on the list on known issues, and overall, I've come across maybe one other person who is having this problem. Whenever I try to change it to full screen in the game's options, it immediately reverts back to windowed mode. Is anyone here having this issue, or have any suggestions on what I could try?

Top right - Gears > Display > Display mode - Borderless.

borderless is alwasy better than full screen unless the borderless mode of the game is broken (like TPP), so I dont see why u insist to use full screen mode.

borderless = less frames. full screen is the best if you want the most frames, borderless is best if you want ease of access

Windowed stays at fixed 1280x720 resolution, though.

My borderless resolution is stuck unplayably low. I literally can't see enemies or teammates the graphics are so bad in borderless. Nothing I do changes it at all.

I cant change my refresh rate in windowed mode and when i try to do it in full screen mode it will change back to 60hz
