ranked takes forever, am I glitched or is this normal?

So, I been in the que for ranked for almost 30 minutes more then a few times. WTF am I doing wrong. All my daily bonuses are PvP so I need to play PvP, I want to finish the Ubisoft task for points but cant seem to play ranked...

it does yes, im currenlty in a queue and its been 20 minutes. Tried relaoding and even quitting the game, its seriously slow.

sometimes in normal i get long queue but then i leave and rejoin and there i go.

For ranked mode that requires lvl 20 and part of the player base doesn't want to play before network issues are fixed?

im level 39 and i dont care to play ranked till i know some ♥♥♥♥ about the game...

The rank system in this game is completely pointless, as we have level 70+ players go in casual and just completely wreck new players. They shouldnt even be allowed in casual if they are past 20, so the new players have some time learning the game.

And yes, im pretty sure alot of players are waiting for fixes, hence the long queue time, that only seems to increase. I got games fast at release, now its getting slower and slower.

it says casual for a reason. so its just chill game if you lose so be it but in ranked oh no if you lose your team is pissed and stuff so less fun.

you know what i mean man, there should be a place where new players can avoid beeing absolutely decimated by a skilled team at level 100.

maybe level divided matches somehow, because beeing a completely new player in this game can be brutal.

indeed it can be but those that are smart enough will learn from them and get better fast.
you gonna put new people vs new people then mostly it gonna be spray at each other till one wins.
its fine as it is. sometimes you get one team that got one man army and sometimes you got all beginners means no one can hold up the team then.

I was just wondering if I was glitched.
As far as the debate on casual play, I do agree a bracket system should be in place to not drop a new player into the lions den of +50 players, many of which treat casual as "lesser" players and talk massive poop to anyone they feel are less skilled. Don't say it is'nt that way, it is.
I have not gotten into a ranked game yet, I was waiting to get good and now I'm +50 and thought I'd give it a try while also knocking off some daily tasks, after the 30 min que I logged out.

The one thing I hope they fix is the mic always on crap. So many games on casual are ruined for me by someone refusing to turn off their mic, I have even been told to STFU multiple times when I asked if they would put the mic on PTT. I'm not speaking about the glitch.

Ranked play has ALOT of yelling "pro" players, calling everyone useless as soon as they die. I love trolling them tho, so easy to piss those ppl off, its hilarious.
