Old maps had more destructible walls leading TOWARDS the OBJ rooms itself, making attack a lot easier. Defenders had actual choke points too hold on the old maps that are now covered with alternate routes and multiple windows, encouraging people too simply not hold locations anymore instead just peak out of a bunch of corners. A lot of the hatches are way less powerful for attackers discouraging use of them, now you only see sledge and buck mostly for soft floor vertical play most the time.
Plane is a good example of what siege used too be outside of the exterior soft wall map design, and lack of windows.
I have talked ♥♥♥♥ about this game before with my friends and a lot of them have said they would have got into the game if they came on board earlier but with all the new changes and amount of ops too unlock it seems like a waste of time. Other then the grind part the maps themselves are way too daunting of a task too ask for new players too ever learn. I myself played back then before all the reworks and I cant get a good grasp on the REWORKS that still have aspects of the old maps intact.
