Black Screen when launching?

I'm sure this question has already been asked and answered but almost evry time i launch the game i get a black screen and i am forced to restart my computer. I was just wondering if there was a fix for this. Thanks

I get this error too mate but i cannot find a soloution for it. Everytime it happens i too have to restart my PC but then somehow it works after one failed attempt. I would bet on there is a conflict between Steam and Uplay as i cannot explain this problem

Seems there is a Uplay/Steam conflict for some, the fix is No.1 in that link.

Used fix #1 on that list and still has black screen on start-up. Tried the lowering of screen resolution to load it, and that only worked 50% of the time, and still crashes when exiting the game. I am totally clueless as to what the actual issue is, and therefore what to do about the problem.

Try installing it on a different drive it worked for me

if you have nvidia i opened geforce experience and optimised all my games and it works now

So once again, someone who curses at the platform, finds out at the end it was his own system that caused the issue.

i have this issue as well and its not my system that is causing problems. after the dust line update that started happening.

I updated my Gtx 960M 4gb and it turned out that when i changed it back to the older driver version it worked fine for me but then they keep saying ''You need to update your graphics-driver''

Hello guys
Have had the same damn problem, but i fixed it, i went in to my Nvidia geforce exeperience and i searced for my games that was running over my nvidia, then i started rb6s from there and it worked.
I hope this was helpfull for some
