Logitech G430 USB Headphones sound issues

Hey guys, i get laggy distorted sound from my headset while in game. Doesnt happen in lobby. Ussualy it starts around the end of 1st round. Does anyone had similar issue? is there any way to fix it? Never had this problem in other games or in closed beta. I did updated drivers and everything

Here is a very simple fix:

Next time don't pay 400+ dollars for a keyboard/Mic/Headphone/Mouse.

I have very standard A4Tech keyboard and its headset and using since 2011.

Considering that G430 costs merely £60 here, i hardly think its expensive piece of kit. Also i was not aware, that rainbow six siege is only compatible with accesories from 2011 or older. But anyway, thank you for your time, it was very helpful :)

Want a cookie? OP, i experienced one or two random games where i stopped hearing gunshots and footsteps but the rest of the audio was there. This is with G930s. I would guess that its probably just a bug that will get worked out.

I have the same problem with my G930.

Got the same issue on G930! disabling voice chat seems to sort it, so not really an option as its a multiplayer game!! just downloaded the latest drivers to see if it plays nice
*driver update didnt help*

Any suggestions??

I am having this issue currently with my G930's.. ugh. Doesnt do it with standard headphones.. time to break out the blue yeti and switch to studio quality i guess... i wish i could fix this.. i get this stutter sounds its like crackling.. its pissing me off.

Had this problem with my logitech g930. Open your sound settings, right click on the headset and go to Properties. Under the Advanced tab, ensure that "Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device" is UNCHECKED. This should also grey out the "Give exclusive mode applications priority" option.

There are still occasional moments where my audio gets a bit buggy -- especially if I'm in my mumble server for voice comms -- but it's worlds better than it was. The game is actually playable now, I'd even say.

I actually said ♥♥♥♥ it, uninstalled the Logitech software from my computer now it works perfectly, no issues. I was experiencing my issues mainly when I was using team speak, and discord. But this completely fixed it. I don't use the surround sound anyway.

I always had issues with my G930 until I used a forum article where you edit the advanced properties and then invert sub polarity. After that I only had the usual sound/mic issues that EVERYONE has regardless of headset. I am using a Razer Kraken 7.1 now and have happily left my G930 behind. That said the first response to this post was lame and you should probably not take too much into it considering at Steam level 0 he's probably a troll. That or his profile is private but still a rude response.

Yeah, I just ditched them today, bought a blue yeti, and a blue headset. Mo-Fis have solid sound from what I've heard.

Yeah, given I'm also running the logitech g500 mouse and the g910 keyboard, I wasn't really in a position to nuke LGS, although I'd heard it fixed problems for other people.

If you happen to plug the G930 back in, give that a shot.
