The truth about BLACK ICE?

Hey guys, I'm currently 164 on my R6 account and in that entire time, I have not gotten a single black ice. I have friends at level 50 who have 3, one is level 122 with SIXTEEN. And they all seem to have gotten one around their tenth pack.
I've seen multiple people curious about it before, people who've made a post here on the forums but they've never been as high level as me.

So the question is, does anyone know the drop rate of black ice skins? Is there really a 100% in the first 10 packs?

Also I'm curious if you are higher level than I am and still have none let's see if someone can best my score :)

idk my friend is level 160 and doesn't have one and Another friend is level 125 and just got one

I'm not sure of the drop rate, but it's pretty low. I got super lucky and had back-to-back Black Ice drops (before I worked at Ubi) and since then I haven't gotten any, and if I did, they were duplicates. I can try and ask around and see if there's any official information on the drop rate, but no promises.

I've got maybe 7 or 8 and i've put in around 1k hours

It's literally RNG.
Noone knows the drop rate very well.

i got a few myself early on. Thankfully they were on guns that i liked to use. I haven't gotten any in quite a while myself.Perhaps Ubisoft should run a promo on old season skins using the other seige currency? Maybe new players who missed the year 1 seasonal skins would like a chance to buy them?

i have 2 black ice skins, but on guns that i literally never use and that i dont really like (m1014 and p9)

the only thing i can say is that it is more rare than gold/legendary skins i have 768 hours total and after all this time i only got about 5 black ice skins but more legendary skins than i can count

Black ice is ugly though, I don't know about other guns but it looks awful on the mp5. Using it because I don't have and can't afford anything else
