They got one for Doc. Plus, Ubisoft is based in Canada.
Anyway, studying in a Modern Languages department, I have come across French nationals (although I don't study it myself). Anyway, some have no recognisable accent at all and others speak in a distinct accent, which I've observed only French nationals speak, but isn't stereotypically French. Of course, I've also heard some who do speak in the more stereotypical one, and it's absolutely nothing like the ones you hear on TV, in the Movies or by people trying to make fun of the French.
Also it would make sence if the GIGN spoke with a more American accent as that might be the accent they picked up as they were taught it, most likely when they joined the GN (Doc being an exception since he probably learned it early in life due to his academic background).
But they were raised in their native countries. Your language and accent, unless you get speech therapy to counter it, is developed during adolescent
The SAS have very noticable accents, same with the Spetznas. The GSG-9 aren't obvious with their accents but you can tell they aren't native english speakers.
They are based in ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Canada. They could probably call up a family member to do it.
or at least fake it. I'm sure most of them are native french speakers.
