I was lucky to get them for $100 less though, as they are pretty expensive.
@BerSerKer, have you ran into any issues at all?
No, only thing that has been annoying me is that headset randomly dies even though i just charged it. (Must be rebooting or something) Audio cue for when you need to charge it scares the absolute ♥♥♥♥ out of me though. XD
I havem't let them die out, but i believe it is because i tend to fully turn my system off at the PSU. So they stop charging, i guess it just reboots or something when i turn them on. (Putting the charging cord in for a few minutes fixes the problem)
I myself, use Razer's Kraken Chroma 7.1 and its great.
Bear with me!.. Your ears dont have forward and backwards receptors. They're stereo input. Your brain compares the sounds and their delay to give you a sense of direction. For large audiences, several speakers make for a large sound stage making a 7.1 system useful since people may be in varying locations. In the case of headphones, the distance from your ears to the speakers is constant. You dont need the huge sound stage, only the delay in the surround sounds to percieve them as surround. Thats what Dolby DTS is AFAIK. Unlike 7.1, DTS encodes an infinite number of sources rather than just front, side, and rear. This means you can use two large drivers for *better* surround than 3 smaller drivers in each can with higher accuracy. So yeah, try the encoded stereo before commiting to 7.1 forever - you may find yourself in another boat!
