Still looking for members

Your clan's thread was locked before due to massive bumping and spam: http://steamcommunity.com/app/359550/discussions/0/492379439681100485/

Will this thread reach the same conclusion or will you guys actually not shamelessly self bump it this time? Because if you guys are going to do the same as last time then you may as well save some time and just not do it.

Opening the same thread to do the same thing is just thread locking evasion and that's as severe as a ban evasion.

We're not bumping it. And you're derailing the topic. which is against the rules in this discussion board.

There's no rules against creating recruitment threads.

If you keep derailing the thread I will report you for it, and harassment. Because you clearly have nothing better to do than impersonate a moderator.

[AToM] is participating in a tournament today, if people interested in seeing what we're about.

Hey guys, just popping in to say that you need to be careful to distinguish between new content and bumping. I understand you want to recruit and stay active but please be respectful of other users. Maybe try recruiting people in rounds, or updating when you have big events (i.e. that tournament from today).

Overall, just be aware that this is a general discussion forum and people like it to look a certain way. Thanks, good luck with the tourney.

Admins of our clan have been careful to only add new info. Since I figured someone above probably had the thread subscribed, and was watching for us to bump it, and subsequently report it.

Still, we do want to promote our team, which only helps R6 Siege. Pretty much ALL of us want to see a recruiting sub-forum. Can we get some help with that? then we'll gladly get off your GD forum.

This thread does indeed get us many interested protential teammembers. We appreciate greatly being able to have this. If there are problems, we'll gladly fix them, if given the chance.

Can you PLEASE make a "Clans and crews" subforum already so these people can stop bumping their own threads with irrelevant info just to try to stay relevant and at the top? It would seriously help the forum big time and save us some reporting while we're at it.

It's not rare to have clans send a random user (Who never posted before) to post a 2 word text just to bump it and bypass bans and it's annoying as hell.

You've been reported. I told you to stop derailing our thread.

Then make a recruiting forum on steam...

I'm looking into this. I checked on TF2 and CS:GO's discussions and they don't have subforums for recruiting, so it seems like the exception on Steam. Let me know if there are games that do have it on Steam.

I'm monitoring this thread and other recruitment ones in the meanwhile.

Our own forums are a good opportunity for recruiting: http://forums.ubi.com/forumdisplay.php/1069-PC

How is it a derail when I'm supporting exactly what you're asking for? I too want the clans and crews section. Please, stop overreacting.

Also the whole "I REPOTR U" act is far more spammy than anything posted here so far, heck, it's even more spam than the guys your clan sent to bump your previous thread.

The PAYDAY 2 gamehub has a section dedicated to that: http://steamcommunity.com/app/218620/discussions/#

...Precisely because of how spammy clans are like when trying to recruit them. It does wonders, I don't recall the last time a clan spammed the general discussions board, and if they do, their thread is moved to the correct section so they can do as they please with their thread.

Please do not use the CS:GO and TF2 forums as your absolute basis for how to arrange your gamehub. Those gamehubs in particular are terrible and their communities are far bigger than R6:Siege's which means spammy clan threads don't survive at the top for a long time anyway due to a constant stream of new threads, unlike around here.

It all depends on how active you guys are going to be around here though, if at least to move the clan threads to the correct section should anyone post them in general discussion instead.

Thanks, we'll look into it. It seems like a good idea.

In the meantime, know that we're keeping an eye on these threads and you don't need to do our job for us!
