NAT Settings unchangeable!
This is message is for the UBISOFT STAFF!

I am not in the position to change my NAT Settings in the menu of my router/internet modem.

Are you planning to fix the Port-Forwarding issue?

It looks like more people have these problems and can't change their NAT Settings. Do you want us to stop playing forever?
It's not possible to team up with 5 player with these problems.

Change your Port-Problems or Server Settings. Other games managed that too!

I've had moderate NAT since the beta, except for a few instances where it randomly decided it was open for a while (without me making any changes). I've forwarded ports, cycled UPnP, called my ISP, etc. Still moderate. Don't have this problem in any other multiplayer game.

Still, though, I haven't had any problems connecting or chatting with others. I'm thinking it's just a glitch with how Uplay/R6 is detecting NAT settings. My advice is to ignore it until it starts causing you actual problems. It's nothing until it's something, ya know?

This game is extremely buggy for me. The times that it actually boots up all the way (without getting the buggy error code 000000047 at the main menu), the NAT settings are always detected as strict. My ports are forwarded, took all the steps to open my NAT...still nothing. The only way for me to bybass the error code look at the main menu, is use at damn VPN.

We all need Ubisoft / Uplay to fix all these bugs... I've had the game since launch and haven't been able to play much...

Someone pointed me to the following forum post about which ports to forward for Open NAT type and they worked for me. I had Moderate NAT type and opened the following ports and it is now Open. Hopefully this helps.

UDP: 6015, 50000-60000

Note: You have to close the game and Uplay before the new forwarded ports will take effect.
