emerald players in my copper lobbies

i get ranked is somewhat serious but how come i get people with emerald and diamond charms in my copper games, it seems strange

Whats the point of a ranking system ?. I mean you should lose some....then demote and then have to play better to get back up. Instead you start at the hardest level with no chance of progression. Counter Strike 2 currently has the better Ranked matches....despite being the worse shooter imo. Its like they are trying to kill the game off.

I feel you. It's like there's this bizzare yoyo matchmaking system. I'll do well for a few games then the game will start to matchmake me with a bunch of diamonds, emeralds, and champs and then my team gets destroyed and then I seem to get matched back down after a few bad games and then the cycle repeats.
