Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege

Siege capped at 60 fps no matter what I do.
I have tried many different times to uncap my fps. Went into the game file thing to set the limiter to 0, didn't work. Went to set it to 240hz(Monitor max) didn't work. Turned on no cap in display settings, didn't work. Uninstalled and reinstalled the game, didn't work. I have fullscreen on. I am using an amd graphics card (not sure if that matters but just in case). I am running out of options here and I am going to reset my pc soon as a last resort but I am coming here just in case there is an easier fix that I may be missing.

It's not your PC. Try turning VSync off and if it does not work, then try resetting your graphics settings from the game. It should clear your problem.

Vsync is already turned off. I will try and see if turning it off then back on works. What do you mean but resetting my graphics from in game

Bruh if he has a 240hz not 60hz XD makes no sense that Vsync should cap his fps to 60....
Check your ini
FPSLimit=0 (you can change this to but if you go for 240 mind you change something in game it reverts back as if i dont mistake 144 is the max i think)
RefreshRate=60.000000 (change this to 240 if its not already)
WindowMode=0
VSync=0
MaxGPUBufferedFrame=1 (You should have 0 leave it alone if you dont care)

If in vulkan mode change it to directx if not the other way around.

Other than if i do ask that you have Nvidia well good luck there i hate nvidia ......
