Xboxstat.exe taking up cpu
To all the people with cpu problems, if you have xboxstat.exe running, disable it. It's not a necessary program and will use around 15% cpu power all the time! I had lag/stuttering constantly, until I turned this program off. It's not a fix to the issue, it just makes it a little more tolerable to play through. Just thought I'd pass this on, in the hopes it helps a few people.

This is for Xbox Gamepad drivers. If you use a 360 controller, do not disable it.

You actually dont need xboxstat.exe to use xbox controllers on pc. It is a program that gathers info for microsoft. I have it disabled and still use my controller just fine.

That doesnt sound right, I have it on there in the backround and it takes less than 0.5% of the available ram and it has no impact on the CPU whatsoever. Sounds like something is wrong on your end.

Actually, if you google xboxstat.exe, it's a very common problem.
