Rainbow Six was the original name of the book by Tom Clancy wich the game is based off of. The team itself is only called Team Rainbow but Raibow Six is the codename for the comander of team rainbow. Thats what i get for reading books.

Fun fact:

I wanted to make a clan once. As a Rainbow Six fan, I thought "Reignbow" was a cool name.
Until I decided to google it to see if there's a clan with that name already that is.

The concept for Team Rainbow is just awesome, only Ubisoft has gone and made it feel like the dream team is catered towards children with their "special" operators.
