Disable Chat ?

It only distracts when there is again someone trashtalking from the enemy team or someone flaming from the own team.
Is there any way ? doesnt found anything about it in the options.

Disabling chat would mean that no one could give you usefull information either. It's not an option because it would be more detriment than benifit.

Just dont look at it. after a while you wont even notice... me and my friends are so used to using voice that when i type... even my friends dont answer... cuz they didnt even see what i put....

Good news about voice I believe is that you can only hear your team mates maybe? After watching enough you tube videos I can see how chat could be a problem. It can take your mind off of your objective. I know I would get distracted if I was playing casual. People calling each other "hackers" when it fact it could of been a "good kill".

actually you can turn it off it is under gameplay tab then HUD preferences and at the very bottom show PC chat is there

The enemy team will always trash talking but you can report them or just ignore the chats. I don't like to play casual because of that. I prefer to play custom match (with freinds) to have some fun. But still looking for people to play custom match (2 vs 2 or 3 vs 3...etc)

go to - Options -> Gameplay -> HUD preferences -> Show PC Chat (way down) = turn that off

EDIT: LUL didn't notice this was 10 months old.. nvm then
