All bought Operators locked again

Didn't happen to me but a friend on ps4.
Casually started the game like everytime and suddenly all operators were locked again and were needed to be bought with renown again except for the original ops. Checked if she was logged in on the right account and restarted the game serveral times but everything didn't help at all.
Has anybody experienced this before and is this just a temporary bug or is this permanently and cant be changed anymore?

Did your friend try contacting ubi support before grinding the renown again?

Probably just a temporary bug. Unless she was using the (link this thing to have a free trial on all characters another guy was talking about, something about a subscription I think) trial subscription R6 has.

Haven't tried this myself so I wouldn't really know what this subscription thing is.
