Mindset of a fragger?
What goes through the mind of an entry fragger? How do you get so many kills? How do you train to be a fragger? I've always been a support player but I want to experiment and try being an entry fragger. Any tips?

Being an Entry Fragger isnt too hard.

Good aim + Map Knowledge is all you need to get better at it
pair that with reading your opponents and you just kinda walk in get a kill and leave

if i had to be honest though, Stay support get better at that. A Real good support is hard to come bye Fraggers are everywhere

Stay as "support" player and try to be good at it. Entry fraggers are good only on low ranks against new players. (under 150 lvl)

Smarter defenders easily will counter rushers.

Hmmm...for example, Ash wanted to rush, but point is in basement on map like Villa.
Defenders reinforced all walls. Kaid and Mute blocked those walls from being breachd by Hibana/Thermite. Goyo placed his shields in all doorways and Bandit electrified those shields. And there could be one more defender like Kapkan, Frost or Lesion or whatever annoying operator. I'd like to watch how could Ash win this round by rush.

There is a difference between getting an opening pick and being a dumb-ass, but it seems you cant tell what that is

If we are not talking about rush, we are not talking about entry fragging.
If player using his drone before entering the building, thinks about some tactics after prep faze or just spends additional time before entering the building/laction zone" he's not an entry fragger. He's just a normal R6 player.

like i said, "it seems you cant tell what the difference is"

An entry-fragger has the most aim on the team and will go as a lone wolf while Their team pressures the main attack area IE on villa Thatcher Thermite Attacking the Wall in Study to Avi
Jackal and Zofia taking master to stop the mad Defender roam game
and that lonesome ash pushing through the front door to kill the person playing top L so Thermite and Thatcher can get their job done

a rusher is some one who just goes in and shoots while ultimately missing the fundamental part of gun plays That's hitting your shots

being a normal R6 player everyone has the possibility to entry frag,, the common denominator here is you are in the bracket where people are making the switch and aren't doing a good job of it.
and you cant tell the difference between a Good Entry-Fragger. and a DuckFest you call an R6 game...

but if the OP of this post still needs real viable help On the mindset

its all about knowing you're a better player and accepting it when you're proven wrong

9/10 the Entry Fragger has Another Job besides getting them first kills

but that Makes you a Support Fragger, (Just a top Notch siege player+ the ability to flex into a more support role,, Imagine Thatcher, get that wall open with a friend and Blamo shoot nerds)

Entry Fragging has much potential in high ranks, there it has a different meaning, entry fragging in lower ranks is getting kills as fast as possible, but in higher ranks it's about going as fast as you can (by the help of your friends' drones) to the obj to surprise enemies when they are placing gadgets or reinforcing or just positioning, it is very risky but has really high reward, an entry fragger job is to kill 2 defenders atleast especially anchors before dying !

As I said, entry fragger is the one who gets in action as fast as possible to surprise his enemies - rusher. It works mostly in casual cuz there you can play against 50 lvl newcomers. It works only cuz defenders picking random ops and don't play like team at all. EXPIRIENCED defenders wont give a fucc about "fast surprises".
They will take needed positions and watch out for push when round just started. That's why on high rank and especially in pro league entry fragging is rare thing.

From what i learnt from friends and content creators, entry fragger is someone who first enters the room the team is pushing. Best case scenario the entry fragger kills whoever is holding the angle and it's a 5-4, usually what happens is the entry fragger tags whoever is in the room for a bit, dies, then the refragger (the 'support' player) trades with the opponent. It ends up being a 4-4 BUT the attackers have gained map control.

How to be a good entry fragger? first of all pray that someone on your team is droning for you, if there isn't, you drone and ask some kill hungry ash or zofia to push as you call out the defender's position. Other than that, it's just down to aim.

Entry fragger is a player who is pretty much the one focusing on getting kills. Usually paired with powerful guns. This does not mean "rusher". Some people, like you, define it differently.

(Sry for my bad english) .Most of u dont even know what is an entry fragger and comment here. The entry fragger is not the guy who rush to get a kill and run . The job of an entry fragger is to play aggressively in order to create more room for his teammates to execute their strategy
E.g : The guy who push first in site to clear the area so u can plant the defuser

Tips how to be a good entry fragger
There is only one tip : just play a lot of t-hunt on realistic and try to prefire always on head only so u can train ur muscle memory to get better reflexes
