What happened to 2 Operators per season?
Remember when Covid happened and they used it as an excuse to drop the amount of operators from 2 to 1, and in exchange promised operator/map reworks?

Well, im 100% sure they arent being affected by Covid anymore, so now the dev team is just simply either being lazy, or their higher-ups aren't spending resources on two ops per season.

Keep in mind Siege has a 100 Operator goal. Its a lot more years if we're only going to get 2 ops per season.

Yeah, odd. I guess they did tell some excuse but who remembers it now.

Ubisoft needs more money, so they sell the new operrators separately

Buy some skins.

i'm pretty sure they explained it recently as working on making the game better instead of adding a ton of ops

Yeah that seems to be working out for them.

They make the game less and less accessable every year, most of the changes they do are unnecessary and some of them are just stupid. I still like this game but they are focusing on the wrong stuff imo. Siege still has trash sound and they delay most game changing features. The only thing they will never delay are things you have to pay for.

Ubisoft: I'm gonna take this time to make more Operators. No wait, I'll make more skins instead. Muhahahhajahahham.

9 times outta 10 its the higher ups not the devs. Devs want to make good games because their names are attached to them. Higher ups want boring casual games because the duller it us the wider net it has to get people in ( think new world so basic that everyone could say i want to try it but so basic no one stuck around). Problem is they promised people and set the game up as a competitive game so trying to casualize it or force it upon the masses was never going to work. Now they are stuck with a game that the higher ups tried to force crappy design and ideas into in order to get more people and ruined it for the rest of us.

at this point with the ops they are making, id rather they stop making new ops anymore.

be honest ubi, you ran out of ideas a while ago

Could be that they aint making enough money to make a whole custom operator or they might not be able to come up with a idea

there are definitely ways to casualize this game without losing the competitive part, just improving the sound could help a lot of new players to up their gamesense, since you pretty much have to "learn" how sound works in this game, its very confusing for casual players and ofc its not fun to constantly get ♥♥♥♥ on by people you either hear at location different from where they are actually located or cant hear them at all, with like 1.3k hours into the game im kinda used to that by now, but its still such a pain in the bum sometimes
