Unfair gameplay but dev not bother to change
Since they rework the reload animation for more realistic now wait for the quick lean to be remove.
Remember they remove leg space under desk because it unfair.
Remember they remove bullet hole because its unfair.
But quick lean/peak is a fair gameplay because proplayer do that and that is "realistic" while giving edge of game.

Realism is a 2 end sword , some mechanic in games are not realistic , But become inevitable part of the game (for example Rocket jump) , most pro players "exploit" any feather the game have for there advantage , but the catch is that you can learn to do it to .
Rocket jumping in quake is Op and if you want to play good you need to master it , neither if it realistic or not.

I would quit this game and every other project they make in the future if they remove peeking, it takes skill to do and if you like I can personally teach you how in less than 5min. Just hmu

Sometimes in video games there are unintended hidden mechanics, such as tap-strafing. It's better to get excited about mechanics and be more like "wow how can I learn how to do that" instead of wanting it's removal. I feel too many nowadays just want to change fun mechanics and are more down for clunky boring gun-play, I don't get it honestly but enjoy the rest of you're day.

Add a delay between side lean for start or even more expose when leaning

if you wants realistic lets talk about shooting someone in the neck and them not dying or arm being useless or leg. How about shooting a magic dart in someones thigh that heals all wounds. The nanos that magically sure bullet wounds. The fact that you magically without gear after yeeting into a window . a nade literally not eating everyone in an entire room when you throw it. Magically warrior girl with a hologram that literally makes noise and effects barbed wire but somehow doesn't set off kapkan traps. The fact kapkan traps don't blow up their own teammate. Frosts mat not breaking your leg in half. a ball that magically heals all bullet wounds . The thermite charge not killing everyone during the blast or setting the entire building a flame. The fact that they literally MAKE THEIR GADGETS WORSE instead of better. a drone that sends out a taser that doesn't atleast disable one person in the group. a Flash bang that doesn't cause permanent eye damage after the third one goes off in your face. the hand held emp. The drone that magically sends out a red marker everyone can see no matter. People running around in cheese hats on a mission. The shield on the gun that isn't some how affecting everything about the gun. The toxic gas not instantly doing permanent damage to their lungs. I could go on i could point out how every single op in the game isnt realistic. If you want realism lets talk about all those things. Otherwise accept the fact that this game was never meant to be realistic. If it was wed be looking at tarkov

Yes, alot of thing is unrealistic like remember how caveira can down and revive hostage, grappling hook magically hook to the edge of the building, body vanish after dead...

the fact what you listed is yes its unrealistic but i believe we can make difference if we unite and maybe cant change the gadget but we can make the game better instead of getting worst

Everyone would quit. (good players mostly I mean) If you want slow peeks then play on console with controller. Problem solved. You can make it harder on yourself that way, or just take the time to learn how to quick peek. Takes 10 minutes in custom. (ps use your middle finger to hit q - e, that really helps me)

Yes, i do know how to do it and yes i do understand it easy to learn but i want to rework this for everyone have a fair play even in casual(quick match). FYI we do make it harder for ourself while playing casual.
