actually many games still have cd keys.. you can access them through the properties menu when you right click the game
games like quake use them all the time while still on steam as well as a few other games ( i remembre i had an issue cause i was streaming and had my cd key pop up on stream.

no... as this was purchased on steam. through steam..so no cds.... and each time i launched the game it would show the cd key ( since old games required you to enter them before using multiplayer )

op sounds like they got 2 factor authenticator code locked for a min ( which normalyl as you stated is fixed with restart )

For the games that do have CD keys, right-click the game in your library and click View CD key. This will show a dialog with your CD keys for the product (actual keys redacted here): <--- just in case you ACTUALLY need to see a cdkey for a game that has it


Steam will also show a reminder on the Steam Overlay when you launch the game, allowing you to access the keys from within the game. <--- that is the part that almost made me loose a game while streaming... as anyone can report that key stolen

I have the Rainbow and I want to play, but it seems that the mail enters badly and now the game does not recognize me, that's why I want the CD KEY, but I can't find it. I live in Argentina, that's why my bad English. I had to use google translate

you have to contact support. they will re link your account. sounds like you either tried to use a secondary steam account and still logged into your original uplay account. tehy will help you clear that up and show you what account is linked to what account... this game doesnt offer a cd key ... as its not that style release. ( and not steam support ) uplay support

I need to know how to play Rainbow since I don't see the game on any of the accounts I remember creating. I don't know what to do anymore. Then I won't be able to play the game? I still couldn't. I had to format the pc and lost the game. Now I can no longer find it in Ubisoft Connect. It is as if the game was lost and there is no trace of it. Not even steam becomes responsible and ubisoft seems to respond a bot, because nobody gives me a solution. I bought the game on steam
