I limit my FPS to 75, but it is very smooth.

wow .you know i just wonder one thing so bad and not many people know this one must be expert . as far as i know . when you get 600 fps if your monitor is not 500 HZ you are not getting extra benefit is that right ? for example now your monitor must be 240 or 360 HZ so can we say that 600 fps is just number and effect less maybe waste of energy? same like when one gets 240 fps but plays with 60 Hz monitor that means its actually 60 fps remaining 180 is waste is that right ?

No not really is just smoother as CRT has the most lowest latency from every monitor you can get this day thats why you need high refresh rate kinda.
The thing is 60hz and 100fps they all say you waste 40fps cuz 60hz but is not really true but a waste of CPU/GPU more.
I like to have a better CPU/GPU management than a high fps choppy stutter mess.
144hz i did use 141fps and 72fps as its half of the panel rate.
And no you dont need to have the same fps to see the full panel rate or to have smooth experience as some say 60fps on 144hz feels choppy well not for me as its smoooooooth and its a nice experience.(but i like my 60hz)

the extra fps is not a waste. its sort of a buffer, you wont experience fps drops if they happen above the monitors refresh rate.
