Mic works on everything but R6

My microphone works on everything else but this game.

1. I tried the fix in this thread which didn't work: https://steamcommunity.com/app/359550/discussions/0/2595630410182238178/
2. Messing around with gamesettings.ini like setting voice VoiceChatCaptureMode=0 to 1
3. Renamed the C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Ubisoft Game Launcher folder
4. Changed microphone from 48khz to 44.1khz in Microphone properties
5. Tried a different microphone, no difference
6. Tried using push to talk mode, open mic and switching back which made no difference

Not sure what else to try?

When you open the game go to your audio settings and make sure your output and input are setup

The input and output are what they should be.

Update: After not playing this game for a few months, my mic now works in-game randomly. Sadly no obvious change or fix other than waiting for an update to fix it I guess.
