Why are silvers being put in diamond players games????

so its because of my mmr?
when i played i was in diamond but i stopped when Kali was the newest OP, ive come back starting from copper, now silver and have diamonds on my team, assuming it also happens on the enemy team too

Skill based MMR. It's no longer about rank but your in game skill, a system only Ubi can see. It's the same system in other games and it sucks there too.

idk only good thing was at start to easy rank up to plat but after plat 5 you would lose 50mmr and gain 15 so yeah its pain

i thought about it too, the player base isnt exactly huge either so maybe thats why they let all ranks play now too?

no clue on steam everyday i see about 60K people and ofc on epic and ubi might be more or same numbers not only but consoles aswell sometimes to find match takes about 5 minutes less or more not like season earlier its dumb tho to get less mmr for win that lose

They removed MMR restrictions on groups as well, so anyone can play with their friends. It used to be common practice to team with low level alts to get easier games before the restrictions.

yes, that's the issue right here. The game has 2 systems in place:

Shown MMR, aka your rank everyone can see.
Hidden MMR, aka a number which represents your "real" skill level based on previous seasons.

Once you play enough games your Hidden and Shown MMR will become similar/the same.

People, starting in this season, play against each other based on their hidden MMR. So diamonds play against other diamonds undepending on their shown MMR.

This is somewhat a great change, as boosting will now punish players even more.

So let me explain since alot of people cant comprehend this. Your rank is seperate. So a 'copper' player who has the stats of a Champion player should be eventually be a champion but with the old system you had garbage players bringing these players down. Because this is a TEAM based shooter. So when you say why are coppers stuck with champions ask yourself why are YOUR stats the same as a copper players. Because that means you are garbage or they are better then the rank. So educate yourself instead of making yourself look stupid.

Also, i climbed to silver in a few games then had diamonds on my team, sooo? Means im doing fine, just didnt know how the new ranked worked, i guess your a hard stuck bronze? but you are just a sour puss, gtfo :)
