Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege

Sup with bucks gun?
Why does it have so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ much recoil now? It used to be pretty damn nice. Now, even trying to burst fire it and with the recoil reduction its just....wow....even in Terrorist Hunt the thing is kinda ♥♥♥♥. Try to go for a few quick bursts and the recoil just throws the gun way off target.

I do lol. Its still a nutty amount of recoil. Meanwhile, his pistol has 0 recoil what so ever lol.

Even Capitao's M249 has basically 0 recoil.

Like why did thye feel the need to go and give Bucks gun the recoil of a hipfired M2 .50cal?

If you can't control Buck's recoil, just admit you can't control recoil at all. His gun is a laser just like most of the guns in R6S. There is very little recoil in the game.

buck gun is not a laser its one of the harder ones to control but his recoil was actually indirectly improved this season so idk what this guy is talking about.

There are no "hard to control" guns in siege, it's just not a game that has a lot of recoil. Others might disagree but that's just my opinion.

Buck is famous for having THE biggest recoil of all ARs, so yeah his gun has a lot of recoil and since the devs kicked up recoil even more in Y7 changes it got quite a kick
I main Buck, his recoil is fine, go to the firing range and practice. Adjust your mouse sensitivity, try different settings, but his recoil is fine

dude buck's recoil used to be worse. if you cant control bucks recoil theres no way you can play siege at all. Just pull down
I thought Blackbeard DMR has a Strong Recoil Blowback compare to Buck?
Recoils isn't that hard to control once you learn how to pull down each shot and control your mouse/aim.

Used to be worse? His recoil used to be pretty non-existant. Buck been my boi for awhile, hes probably got the most play time out of any of the operators.....Fuze might bring up a close 2nd in games played.

buck has 0 recoil, coming from a 2x champ
Can we switch weapons from full auto to semi anymore? I swear it used to be X or something, there used to be a UI widget that showed what firing mode im in. I dont see that anymore. Are our guns stuck in w/e fire rate they are in?

This guy probably thinks that the first nerf to Ela's Skorpion was perfectly balanced.

Seriously, first nerf Skorpion, SMG-11, and SMG-12 are three specific examples of recoil that is literally uncontrollable at any sort of distance whatsoever. The meta of the SMG-11 was back when it had an ACOG, since people could tap fire with it from a sizable distance and still have a primary to work with as well, which was what made Smoke an even better operator than he is now.

All recoil is manageable technically, but it's a matter of game balance. If they made a gun have recoil where 3 shots and you were already looking up at a 45 degree angle, it could be played with, but there would be a significantly low amount of people using it. Guns need to be balanced in a way where they're not too easy to where everyone wants to use it (pre-nerf Ela Skorpion, pre-nerf Ash R4-C, etc.), but not so impossibly hard to use that even the haters think it was too much (first Skorpion nerf).

Personally, I don't remember having a problem with Buck's AR at any point in time, but it definitely is one of the harder guns to use effectively. The real blow to Buck was taking away his frags and I will mourn that day for all of eternity.

I wasn't playing siege when Ela was first nerfed, I started during Y3S4. So about that I can't say anything.

I'm just saying that in the current state of siege, there are no guns that are hard to control in my opinion. Of course some are very situational, like the SMG-11 and SMG-12. But even those aren't hard to control if you have practiced the recoils even just a little.

I do agree with you on balancing the weapons in a way that they aren't too easy to control, but are also usable by the more casual players. Same with Buck's frags.

Ubisoft removed selectable firemodes a long time ago. So yes, guns are stuck in their firemodes now.
