nerf the nitro cell
you can throw them way to far, there are to many operators who can use them and a recruit can take them.

seriously i get they are fr anto shield but going up against a full team of nitro cells isn't fun

Like defenders rushing outside or peeking out of windows, nitro cells are another thing that's easy to avoid if you're alert.

I agree with the part that recruit can employ nitro. They need to nerf recruit. The only downside to chosing him is that you can' use opitcs (i think, correct me if I'm wrong) Also we don't need ot face a team of shields, it kills the imersion and is slight ly unfair.

I hate the fact that they can detect you through walls, ceilings etc.

I don't remember nitro cells being that overpowered in the beta. It's sensitive as ♥♥♥♥ in Terrorist Hunt.

The devs bother to restrict 'Nades as much as possible, yet half the defenders can take a nitro? Also, the one hit radius is huge. The fact that it encourages blindly chucking an explosive at an enemy rather than legitimate strategy is just... sad.

I dont think we should nerft C4 since there are shield and blackbeard but I do think that recruit should not be given grenade/ C4 as they are recruit so should give them only basic stuff like smoke & breach. Moreover, there is no limit on number of recruit on a team so the whole team can be recruit which is unfair, so only give recruit smoke/ breach charge.

Nitro Cells don't need to be nerfed. But the ammount of defenders with them do.
I never understood why Mute has a Nitro Cell...
Smoke doesn't need one either since he already has his gas canisters.

I'd like to see them nerfed but the easier and more likely thing for them to do would be this and it would kind of balance them out.

I've been dying to them loads recently and it just gets frustrating because they're so common and so many classes can use them.

I agree with that. They have around maybe 6 defenders with nitro cells, but attackers only get 3 operators with frag grenades. Seems a tad unfair since one nitro is worth 3 frags basically.

Give them a longer delay after throwing. Say, two seconds? That way, using them as a trap would be more effective, and they'd still counter shields, but in the way of putting it around a corner and luring him there.

Any half-capable shield user would then become impervious to nitro.

That's the point: it would be used as a trap for shields, requiring actual STRATEGY to take them out

Now let me make this clear i don't want the nitro cell to be completely uselesss i just think it needs to be turned into a more skilled weapon, at this rate people are throwing them at the general direction of an enemy and getting a kill.

It's actually comparable to C4 from call of duty where people would just huck it and detonate it instead of actually shooting the person in front of them, Which in my book is relying on them to much. Either the AoE needs to be nerfed or the throwing distance. But something needs to change because at this rate there are people purposely going recruit just for the nitro cell.

and honestly, Some operators don't need them, Smoke has his toxic grenades which if timed right are good against shields. Bandit should get a shield instead of nitro since he can electrify a shield.

I know shields are annoying but you dont need to have 5 operators with nitro cells just to combat them.

I really don't see how you came to the conclusion that a c4 is 3 times as valuable as a frag.
Frag grenades are faster to throw, you get another chance since you have two of them, they fly farther and in a much better trajectory, they can't be destroyed by shooting at them and neither do they alert everybody in their vicinity with a ridiculously loud beeping.
