I do have to say that i did run outside more than once when i knew where the enemy was since i saw them on the cameras. Does that count?
Edit: The attackers ALWAYS have an edge in those situations because of their superior rifles and better view of the situation.
I wouldn't go that far, but yes, it's a valid tactic. you can't expect me to sit around while blackbeard is on a window, if I can flank him by going for a risky outside roam.
Of course, the transparent barriers can be deactivated if it's hostage and the hostage has been taken by the attackers.
I don't think defenders leaving the building is the meta for dealing with Blackbeard, since it's BS. You kill Blackbeard by shooting his torso, not his head.
I was pissed enough when defenders started killing attackers outside, but I think it got worse when Frost and Valkyrie were introduced with their shotguns. Murderholes (I think that's now the term) are clear giveaways, someone at a door waiting for an attacker to rapell in order to score an easy kill is a little less fair, especially if attackers aren't exactly supposed to be defending the outside of the building.
Plane is annoying when the defenders just congregate around a door, and yes, I know, there are several entry points, but they are limited and the upper hand in terms of assault rifles is undermined when there are OHK headshots in this game and weapons such as the MP5, UMP and the Patchett are unbelieveably accurate. Too many times I've seen Rook or Doc snipe with a MP5 and an ACOG.
The Plane Map is probably one of the worst maps for defenders going outside, i've seen teams wiped by them just running to the top of the big stairsets and throwing C4 down and shooting the attackers.
There's nothing broken here, it's merely a gameplay mechanic. Whether you agree with it or not is irrelevant, you can either adapt over it or simply leave the game; your choice.
Because the job of the defenders is in their name, to defend, they are giving the attackers a HUGE advantage if they get killed, as now the defending team is 1 man down.
However, if they do manage to get the kill, they have made it easier for the attackers to slip up.
Basically, its a high risk, high reward system
Do the Sniper thing, you know you want to.
Every player of no matter which team should go anywhere he wants. If Defenders want to go outside, let them go outside. You need to expect this. Keep it like it is, if you ask me you can even remove the "Enemy outside" notification along with the reduced view effect. I don't care. It's realistic, point.
