When you try to join your friends or invite them. i was having this problem but i managed to fix it. Actually if you having an OPEN NAT you don't have to open ports. i found that the game using non-static UDP port every time you are start up the game. first thing make sure that your game is firewall allowed. ((Don't)) use static IP on your PC, make the DHCP server choose it for you. and you can see that the UPnP well monitor your game port. Port 3074 is not always the one, because last time it worked it used port 1025 UDP. Neither Port 6015 UDP as well. Don't choose public network, make a homegroup network instead. Additional : Run Uplay as administrator, and run discord Teamspeak as administrator as well if you use them, otherwise you cant use them in-game. Different Privileges.
My Old Modem Was: TD_854w
2.: Disable other network connections like VirtualBox or VMWare (even Hamachi or similar) in the network adapter settings of windows.
Those steps helped me to join my friends again. :)
