Changing in game name

I tried numerous times changing my name in uplay through the account manager both on uplay and the ubisoft club to have my clan tag next to my name. on both ubisofts main web page and on the ubisoft club page my name has what I want in it but when i get in game to rainbow six siege my change isnt there. its still just the name i had origonally with out the clan tag I added. How do i get the new name to show if ive already changed it on both the ubisoft club and uplay page?

try restarting uplay or change it via the uplay client

Ive shut down my computer completely a number of times after i had changed my uplay name and when i log onto ubisoft club or uplay client it shows my name as i want it with the clan tag but im saying when im in game on rainbow six siege that my name change is not there. I changed my name from DirtyPENUS to SIN7-DirtyPENUS. on Uplay it says SIN7-DirtyPENUS but on R6S it still says just DirtyPENUS. thats what im not understanding because ive changed my name before and it worked but now its not for some reason

gay uplay wouldnt let me use pussnuggets so i had to find another equally offensive name. if its an offensive name i want its an offensive name i get.

Is it possible to change uPlay name at all? Long time ago, I've created an account to play HoMM 5 and put it in all CAPS, and now it's my user name for whole uPlay...

you can change it. i did it just recently but for some reason it wont let me now. you cant change your legacy name but you should be able to change your in game name. idk why it wont let me

I changed my name by looking at a YouTube video. Idk why it doesn't work for you.
