Does anyone actually know the exact caliber of Glaz's rifle?

7.62×54mmR rounds are standard for the SVU. Glaz may have modified it in someway though.

solid round, same as in the mosin nagant but not sure if the stopping power is equal.

7.62x54r would be the point. Yes, found in the Mosin Nagant, as well as the PKM (or Fuze's compact PKP too!). It's a fast, powerful round, but as with the 7.62 soviet caliber, it just passes through things with force. Not much tumbling damage, like with 5.56. But raw punch and penetration power.

Some Australian dude got shot in the neck with the 7.62x39, and it went clean through. 7.62x54r just will ruin a sappi plate and knock you on your butt.

With Glaz? He'd probably be using AP varients. Sadly I don't think we'll see Glaz running 7.62x54r API (which has the incindeiary effect).
