Mouse and keyboard freeze issue

This has been getting on my nerves a lot ever since I bought this game. At random times usually spaced 10-30 minutes apart my keyboard and mouse control freezes completely and I am unable to do anything for about 5-10 seconds. As you can imagine this is a complete nuisance when it happens in the middle of a firefight and gets me almost busting a vein from rage every single time it happens.

This also only happens in Siege. I'm using a steelseries rival 300 along with a razer blackwidow chroma right now but it also happened with my old razer deathadder chroma.

If anyone could hint towards a fix I would be eternally grateful.

I'm having the exact same issue. I can't find anything that helps.

There are a few things that could cause this issue. 1.The mouse or usb port itself, try switching the usb port for the mouse or find an old ♥♥♥♥ mouse and see if it fixes it. 2. If controller, joystick, anything that acts as movement is plugged in whilst you are playing, unplug it. 3. Update graphics drivers. 4. Enable or disable vsync. 5. Switch to another window mode (fullscreen, borderless, windowed)

Hey. This post is pretty old and the issue has been resolved for me. What OS are you on? Because when I switched from win 7 to win 10 it stopped happening.

I've been on 10. I think it was the keyboard and moose and it started by chance when i got the game

I had the same problem on 10; it began after one of the patches after Operation Health, and seems to have stopped after White Noise patch. I hope it's permanent. :P

Help! I'm having the same problems AFTER operation White Noise came out.
It freezes the inputs from my mouse and keyboard for about 5 seconds.
After White Noise came out you could change the input to "raw input" in the game files.
Could that cause the problem?

I started having the samme issue again until I turned raw input off. So yes, it may be causing your problem.

My raw input is OFF and the freezes, after all, still appear, though significantly shorter. Perhaps a second instead of solid 5.

has anyone actually fixed this? this just started happening to me a few weeks ago and i haven't made any changes to anything on my PC, or in siege, and it only happens in siege.
for me it happens like every minute or so anywhere between 3 seconds and 15 seconds, and if i hit anything during this time the controls unfreeze and then the game force closes with no error message

Raw input does cause this issue for me when turned on. I do not have this issue anymore.

This thread was created before raw input was released, even in the ini.

so what kind of lag do you have on ur mouse ?
