For example, if i put Sound Effect at 100, and Others at 10, i will hear footsteps that will usually be perfectly unaudiable. Sure it sounds great ( get it ), but this will destroy the flow of the game as R6 heavily depends on audio cues.
You can NOT hear anything louder than the game allows.
Right now all sound effects are always at 100%.
You can not go above that number.
What a slider allows is for sound effects to be LOWERED.
But right now all sound effects are stuck at MAXIMUM volume, so you can not abuse it in any way.
You can only make other sounds less noisy but that is irrelevant since sound effects are by far the loudest sound of any in the game.
Indeed :)
This game only has Sound Effects, Voice Chat and Music (that i never heard).
You can not affect specific sound effects like steps without affecting all other sound effects like background noise.
So it is already possible to make the game play ONLY sound effects, which are always stuck on maximum volume.
What i suggest would allow you to REDUCE the volume of Sound Effects.
My suggestion would (optionally) lower the volume of steps/gunshots/explosions if the user wants it, so that the voice chat is easier to hear.
* So that the steps are easier to heard *
I am not sure what you are talking about.
Right now you can make it so that the only thing you hear are sound effects (footsteps, breaking...).
What i am suggesting is the option to LOWER/REDUCE the volume of sound effects (footsteps, breaking...).
If anything using that option would make it more difficult for the player to hear all sound effects, but that is often needed in order to hear any voice-chat at all.
