Activation Code Does Not Appear
Well i bought the game and when i start it, it asks for the activation code, but steam doesnt actually show the code before i launch it (which normally happens when i have game which requires a activation code). and dont say "Right click the game in your library and click View CD Key" cause i already tried that.

Ok so this is how it starts. After the download is complete, launch the game from steam. It will open uplay and ask for the activation code. Close both the application and then launch the game again from steam. It will automatically activate your Siege copy and you will be able to play. Ubisoft is not providing activation keys anymore.

Ubisoft gets worse by the day... Thanks for providing that answer. Had the same issue and it resolved it.

Madfish Jun 25, 2016 @ 5:44am
Nope, just quit Uplay and start the game again. It will then activate.

oh k thanks

k i tried what u said but it still asks for a activation key.

Sorry to hear. Make sure uplay is really gone and the games process is dead as well. Then do NOT start Uplay, start the game from within Steam - this time it should come up with a different activation window. It should then be activated.

yeah sorry just figured out how to do it. i realised that i did it incorrectly first time. thank you very much for the help

I closed Uplay and launched the game again. Didn't work. Tried restarting steam and launching it. Didn't work. Tried launching it from the local files. Didn't work. Keeps redirecting me to provide an activation key that I DONT ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ HAVE. Jesus Christ Uplay, get your ♥♥♥♥ together. Anyone have other ideas?

If you see a window in Uplay that asks you for a cd-key then your uplay is out of date. Don't know why it hasn't auto updated but it should and does for the majority of users out there.

Find a way to update it and make sure there isn't a UbisoftGameLauncher.exe running before you do.

There are no cd-keys for siege now after the new uplay update.

basicly when the activation key appears close it and completely exit uplay and then steam. then open steam again and launch rainbow six siege again. make sure to have not opened uplay before u open steam. doing this will activate the siege copy and will let u play on rainbow six siege
