Hyperx cloud 1 or logitech G430 with 7.1 surround?
I am looking for a headset and have read that Hyperx cloud series is the best value for money. While Cloud 2 has surround but some reviews are not pointing it as its strong feature. In my region and online portals, Cloud1 and G430 are of the same price. I was initially eager for hyperx but simulated 7.1 in the same price with logitech after sales support is a little tempting. I will be upgrading from an audiophile HD202(very uncomfortable) with better expectations.

May I have your suggestions and please...only share your practical experince to avoid the agruments we all want to avoid :)

I'm using hyper x right now and they are amongst the best headsets/phones I have ever used :D

They are comfortable and have excellent sound quality with a detachable microphone

Hope this helps :)

I just read that Logitech430 is bound to have low volume and needs to be compensated by equilizing software andt any normal amp will cost as much as a cloud core headset which I would like to avoid.

Bacon - Thanks man. Have you ever had any similar issue of low volume on Cloud1 or are you using some amp/additional sound card? Also...Do you feel anything missing in directional audio to wish for simulated surround during gameplay?

i got 430. its pre amplifier is locked due to some Eu laws which i dont understand. i had to use third party software to boost amplifier. But if you do it then there ll be some parasite voices time to time. Some kind of interfrence which i cant get rid off. But if you gonna connect it to an internal sound card instead of using its usb sound card then go for it.

İ Myself Gonna get a new quality headset. This middle level crap getting on my nerves since 3 years. fed up.

i have some old 558's and their 'surround' is great even for stereo sets but i recommend a dedicated amp 100 percent
