Are hackers a big issue here?

I've seen it being mentioned in youtube, that there are many hackers here (more like cheaters that use hacks I bet), so the only thing stopping me from buying the game is that. Is it really bad? Ever since Modern Warfare 2 for PS3, hacking has been #1 concern for me in a multiplayer game.
I would apreciate feedback about this so I can make an informed decision. Cheers!

Hacking does occur. It is mostly in competitive though. However, it isn't TOO common. This game has hacks called more than most because it can rely heavily on being tactical and using all the tools you have available. Usually, people call hax because they don't understand how the game works.

Hackers are a huge issue in the game. I run into cheaters playing the game daily, just now I ran into one who toggled on an ESP after his team started losing. Siege has no active anti-cheat system, only Fairfight which does nothing but monitor stats and will only catch the most blatant of cheaters.

I have about 300 hours. 280 of them in multiplayer.

I experienced some dubious cases (and one or two obvious cheaters) but not so much to make me stop playing. However, I am playing in Casual mode (for various reasons), not Ranked and I heard it's Ranked where cheating is the most common.

I suspect that some (many?) allegations of cheating can be explained by a good use of cameras (both offense and defense), a good headset (sound really helps in this game), good reflex and use of voice communication (especially in organized teams).

I encountered a couple shady players in the 4 hours i was playing earlier. I think part of it would either be that people getting the starter edition are cheating and think they won't get caught or they're not worried about the money cus it's cheap.

I've seen two people in one game get removed by fairfight and one other in another game got removed.

It doesn't seem to be as prevalent as you'd think but it certainly does happen and it may increase in part because of the cheap price of the game currently while the starter edition is available.

Hackers are a masive issue once you reach rank beyond gold, but everywhere else - casual, ranked below gold and terorist hunt its fine

Tbh, there could be a few hackers out there on the lower ranks and definitly a few more on the upper ranks (in ranked) that might ruin one or maybe two of your matches, but srsly, there are hackers in battlefield, there are hackers in counter-strike, theyre basically everywhere and ppl keep complaining about better players that dont even use hacks just because the complaining players suck at the game...

wtf is that this not wall hacking how u know that he is hacking he just waiting in then corner for some one to come and its u when u come he just headshot u and on the 1st one he knows someone is here cos valkryine killed 1 of his mate and thats y he is just aim from the wall hole he made and u r saying this is hack

I have 800+ hours and i will say that hacking is an issue just like any game with multiplayer. there are a lot in ranked but there is a growing number in casual as well. Still, I have to say, its not enough to get me to stop playing the game. Yet. I still recommend it to those who want to play honestly so that the honest players keep the numbers and the game remains fun :)

Answer is no - couse its a lot mad players and its couple operators who can "Smell you" so its nope

If you watch his aim, it follows peoples heads through the wall on both of them. If you watch the kill replays their cross hairs never deviate from the targets head even through a wall. How would a legit player track the targets head behind a wall? The EXACT location. General body location yeah, exact head location and insta fire once showing? Hacker.

I don't know my hours played off the top of my head but I would guess its a lot. You will get matches with someone that you might suspect they are hacking but its border line badass player and cheater. I air that he was a good player and move on. On an occasion you will get a hacker like the ones I posted above. Overall though it doesn't stop my game play or my fun playing it. I mostly play casual and rarely play ranked.

I would tell you to wait for Ubisoft to work on their anti-cheat. I almost see a cheater in every single match now. I'm quite experienced with the game and i got 800+ hours on it. :P

Its a really great game with potential, but it's really difficult to find legit players now.

22 hour game played and haven't met one.I know my play time is a bit less but i don't think you will meet hacker at every game and even there are hacker in your match.Just report and wait for the next match.I will recommend if you like those tactical game.If can,get some friend to buy it with you it will be really nice when you playing with friend. SORRY FOR MY BAD ENGLISH.
