Suddenly got low FPS
I downloaded the new Nvidia Geforce Experience and I updated my drivers. But now Rainbow Six Siege has low fps and it didn't have low fps before I installed Nvidia Geforce Experience.

Did you actually update the graphics drivers? Simply installing the software doesn't mean your drivers are up to date.

Experience could have done their "optimal settings" option on your game.

I did update my drivers actually and my brother didn't suggest that due to games getting issues like this.

Are you using V-Sync? If so, then go to the NVIDIA Control Panel, select "Manage 3D settings", scroll all the way down, click on the options for "Vertical Sync" and select "Adaptive". What this does is that if your PC hits the same amount of FPS as your screen's refresh rate it locks the FPS but if your PC doesn't hit that number it completely unlocks it ( until it hits that particular number again ). ( Let's assume that your refresh rate is 60Hz ): if you don't have "Adaptive" selected then everytime your PC will get something lower than 60 FPS it will be locked to 30 until you hit 60 again. This happened to me 4 months ago after I updated my NVIDIA graphics driver, I joined the game and I was like "WTF?!".

Right Click on your desktop then select NVIDA Control Panel
Next click on 'Set PhysX Configuration'
After that click on the drop down menu and click on G-Force GTX 1050
Apply the changes and you should be good to go

Going to necro this sense this one of the 1st results on google. Use "Fast" instead of "adapt". Fast is g-sync if you have excess frames. Use adapt if you don't get excess frames however.

I know this post is from a long time ago but i just reseted my PC and my FPS in Rainbow six just dropped imensly. I'm not sure if its because im on windows 7 now and before i reseted my PC i was on windows 10 but does anybody have an idea why?

How in the world did you end up in Windows 7? Because of you ending up in Windows 7 setttings might have resetted. Do you have Nvidia Geforce Experience? If not, I recommend getting that and updating your drivers.

My buddy has this issue aswell. I am commenting to get an answer for him if you guys find out what it is. I have Amd, and I have not noticed a difference in my fps since Chimera.
