Why r6 comunity is so toxic?

Back in 2017 it wasn't like that but now everyone is toxic. If u play bad just 1 round, they'll be toxic. They are just salty kids that they got any success in their life. They even being toxic about your name lol

because the game turned into an ultra competitive unenjoyable ♥♥♥♥ fest of 12 year old wannabe pro gamers, same thing that happened to COD or warzone. the publisher pushed the idea of R6 being an "esport game" so hard and made esports the games identity like csgo or valorant, that hurt the game in numerous ways like balance changes being made according to the pro scene instead of the casual/ranked majority of the players, the game lost its identity as a "realistic" tactical swat shooter or even the name of the game, it no longer is a rainbow six series game its just another flashy Esports shooter with ridicilious cosmetics and <ero consistancy in the theme or setting like it used to. all of that combined alienated the old playerbase which was more casual and light hearted

that turned into a rant and a half, used to play this game from year 1 to a bit after they added those newer gun sights. near lvl200 on ps4 and a bit on pc, just sad to see what this game became

you are so damn right but this game like drugs for me. i just can't stop playing it. i have deleted so many times but i miss
