Hello Ninou.,

Thanks for reaching out and I'm sorry to hear about your CPU usage.

Can you please provide us with your full PC specs against your in-game graphics settings, so we can have a look? Have you tried lowering your graphics settings, by any chance?

Last, but not least, can you please try the troubleshooting steps {LINK REMOVED}? It will help to eliminate any potential software conflicts.

Many thanks and if you have any additional questions, please let us know.

I have returned to the game after 2 years and noticed the same - really high CPU usage on my 9700k. Something has definitely changed.

lower the priority of all ubisoft processes (except for the game, obviously) in task manager, that helps a bit

uninstall ubisoft conenct to solve the issue

Turning off the ubisoft connect overlay might help.

For me the solution is to disable ubisoft overlay, close every window of ubisoft connect when you're playing.

Win+R -type power - power settings-advange settings - edit-max cpu usage setting should be there

i5 9400f
rx 560
16 gb ram
windows 11 pro 'it was the same problem in windows 10'
im playing in low settings
i get around 120fps
even if the game is not lagging but with 90% cpu usage i cant use discord or any another application because the usage will be 100%

Turn off " IN-GAME OVERLAY " from uplay. And it'll fix it.

Ive i5 7500.
Discord uses 4-7%
R6 uses 48-51% ( without uplay overlay )
87-98% ( with uplay overlay )

uplay ( the new one ) is a buggy mess thats why it uses so much CPU.

I'll only open up window of uplay if I wanted to invite/accept invite from my friends, after which I'll close it down again
