Nah it needs to be a separate game. Like they need to get the old files and make it completely separate from current Siege.
That's not real legacy Siege.
It's going to be the same mode we had already, just a cut down list of operators. That's not a legacy mode, that's legacy-like mode.
It's not a legacy mode until they revert the recoil patterns to random recoil at the very least.
EDIT: Yes, I'm still unreasonably upset about the recoil changes. The community told Ubi to go f* themselves with the change, they did it anyway just without telling anyone and the community ate it up.
I agree, I would like it if they added more maps too and made the lighting more like it was before, but that's probably asking for too much, they couldn't even get the loadouts right last time
They could just release the original 1.0 version and start developing from there, again. Slap a 100$ price on that f*cker and ignore all the kids crying about the price. if you're old enough to miss old siege, you're old enough to afford the price.
Give us a game with some gud demn chest hair, not this PG-13 cr*p.
Oh well.. at least there's Due Process, man does ranked in that game feel almost like old Siege. It does require team effort to have fun though, so kid's aren't populating it.. mostly just a bunch of old farts who've stumbled into it.
on attacking team people just ran straight to a opening entered and ran the run and gun style that would not have been possible in the old maps unless you wanted to get spawnpeaked also people dont care at all about cameras anymore being spotted apparently do not matter with this new style of play and sticking togheter as a team with operators picked according to wut the team needs for breaching also do not matter anymore......
on the defending side I saw a very lax attitude to fortify any walls or put down gadgets only thing that seemed important was getting some rook armour but creating chokepoints and making a citadel around the objective was not important and also difficult since all the maps now are very very wide so almost impossible not to have a opening somewhere in terms of staying on the objective only very few did roaming is the thing now .....
back when I first played this game there was a heavy emphasis on breaching and fortifying it was the essense of the game back then and you didn't rush in like a mad man because you would almost always get spawnpeaked from a cheesy angle if you did so the approach was almost always more stealth focused trying to take out as many cams as possible and find a good place for most of the team if not the whole team to enter teamplay was essential
on the defending side everybody was fortifying and putting up gadgets or make openings between bombs and hunting drones usually only 2 people went to roam or setup spawnpeak while the rest anchored in and around the objective..
I feel this whole teamfocused playstyled has been completely lost in the current R6 and the overwhelming amount of operators and gadgets are completely out of touch I saw what I thought was an enemy come running into a room I was in and spot but when I shot her it turned out to be a hologram running propably the worst idea ever
Pls give back classic R6 UBI !
If I remember they intend to make it even worse, by giving the MVP more MMR. Just to make sure you're incentivised to be at the top at the expense of everyone else.

I always felt the whole ranking system was a bit broken I mean I reached rank 149 but I don't play like a rank 149 maybe more like a rank 60 or 70 but the amount of hours I played got me to rank 149 so when getting matched with people that plays like a rank 150 I will always suck in comparison which in turn will hurt my teammates and make the match not much fun for me....
The banter or "toxicity" I never really had much of an issue with only the screaming kids but mute button works fine and in the chat well words are just words the tk thing or hurting teammates was a little frustrating at times but it was rare it happened and many times just plain fun to watch especially if it was on the other team xD
I never really understood why Ubi came so hard down on that I mean its game people do crazy stuff like that in a game and the more kids you get in a game the more it will happen I guess the pegi 18 label wasn't quite enough to keep the horde of 12year olds out :D
Exactly, no point in making it just an arcade mode since that would require them to literally change almost everything, might as well take the Siege 1.0 files and just release that, way less effort. I am worried that if they started devloping from there they would just eventually ♥♥♥♥ it up again, but it could be good, at least for a while. Or, you know, they might surprise us and actually put people who care and know what the community wants in charge, but this is Ubisoft...
Exactly, people just play the game like it's COD. It's nothing like the old Siege that was actually tactical and people played like a team.
Keeps out a lot of the kids and cheaters, they can stay in current garbage Siege
