Well then why all my friends tell me It shouldn't take so much?
Tomorrow I will have 16 so this will never be an issue again
That ram it shows in game is only for the on-board ram on the card Im pretty sure.
1060 SC here with 3 gig and it takes about .950-1.15 gigs of my on board at medium settings. I could run on high, but my CPU is fairly old and could be better cooled, so it overheats sometimes even on medium.
I have 6 gigs and then the 3 built into the card.
TBH Ive been looking to upgrade my RAM, 6 gigs not including the card is pretty low these days. When I built my computer in like 2009 (thus the old CPU) 8gig was normal, I actually went kinda light on the ram at the time.
16 gig is what Id shoot for, if I had money, now.
Sry, just edited my other post after you replied, in relation to on board ram.
4 is very low.
By the time steam and Uplay are on, and the game is starting up, its running at 40% for me. That seems pretty insane tbh.
