Why is Gridlock so fat?
Aren't special forces suppose to be in shape? Feels like someone modded a meme model into the game. How did Ubisoft think this was a good idea? What happened to realism / immersion or does that not matter anymore? Are the next operators going to use crutches? Where do you draw the line?

I think they wanted to be more PC, have "fat acceptance" and be more "inclusive".

But isn't this a realistic special forces shooter? Like how the hell?

I wouldn't be suprised if they came out with a legit trans operator, or announce that one of the first ops ever made is now gay.

lol realistic
Only thing unrealistic are some of the gadgets, that's mostly it. It's still based in reality - slow paced and go down in 2-3 hits. No one is double jumping like Unreal or wall running like COD. So yes, realistic.

I don't get why this is a problem. IF you're playing as her, you're just gonna see her arms. If you're playing against her, you're gonna see her for a sec dealing if you kill her or she kills you. Not really immersion breaking too, it's equivalent to a fat cop....

Where do you draw the line before it gets too ridiculous? These are special forces. Not everyone can join. It's expected for them to be fit and mobile. If they had a wheelchair operator, you'd be ok with it?

No? She's fat but honestly it doesn't bother me? I've seen plenty of out of shape special forces (One time I saw this SWAT officer that looks like he can barely run a mile), hell I even have some friends who's not fit at all but they've been in the military. Being out of shape doesn't completely disqualify you from being in Special Forces. The line Ubisoft crosses is when they bring in some ops that have prosthetics, ♥♥♥♥ like asthma, or a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ wheelchair, (you know, actual things that prevent you from joinng)

They had thought they drew the line with the original operators in the game, then they crossed it with the first update and haven't looked back since. Look at all the original operators and look at the rest. Even in black ice you have some asian chick from vancouver using guns from the world ♥♥♥♥♥♥ war and a bunch of bear traps.
