Why don't Nomad's Assault riles have any grip attachments?

It just seems dumb. there's no plausible reason to why they aren't available, with guns like Mute's MP5K or Bandit's MP7 it makes sense considering how they already have an internal grip, but Nomad's guns don't.

It's like Buck's C8 and CAMRs, their gadget occupies the slot that's reserved for the grips, as in other weapons, only Buck and Nomad have this type of gadget tho thus can't use any grips at all

It does seem like an arbitrary game balance decision, similar to how Frost can use the angled grip but not the vertical grip. Nomad's gadget is mounted on the side of the gun, so it shouldn't block using a forward grip, and you can see on her ARX rifle that there's an unused section of accessory rail on the bottom. There isn't a piece of rail on the bottom of Nomad's AK, but as you can see with the GIGN shotgun, they could simply make one appear when you select a forward grip.
