It's just preference. Sometimes having Q and E is easier to manage but mouse buttons are also effective if you're fast with thumbs (assuming you're right-handed).

I havnt actually tried it because i switched it right away but idk if i should risk it and suck for a game or what

yeah, it frees up your mouse buttons for stuff like gadgets and melee, and q/e are very easy to hit and dont interrupting anything else

I think that if you set leaning on mouse then it is going to interfere with aiming. If you press a mouse button it is going to affect aim.

some prefer q and e, some prefer mouse buttons, some prefer some uncommon ones like shift and space
basically just play around and find whatevers comfortable for you

Some people doesn't realize this, but if you change q to e and e to q it becomes more natural for your fingers to press it. Just an advice if you struggle with everything.

That sounds pretty ass backwards. If I press Q I expect to lean left, since its to the left of W. Thats like changing A to D and D to A.....

If you play other FPS games, I would not recommend doing it with mouse buttons. You'll get confused as f.
