Its a leak. A lot of R6 youtubers have been reporting on it.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xNZOpPuwsAI
And you cared enough to cry about a speculation which you cannot determine right or wrong until it's released.
How or where am I defending Ubisoft on the subject at hand? I'm just not assuming something that I shouldn't be judging until I actually witness it myself.
Point is, you're crying about something you can't prove for yourself and instead have to rely on a bunch of YouTube videos, and you wanting to uninstall the game because of said reason and act like anyone cares - think again, chief.
Anyway, I do agree with you that Lion was a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mistake. Not to mention the stupid idea to buff Blitz so he could Blitzkrieg everything on sight.
But, in the case of wallhacking itself, Pulse has been an original wallhacking operator and asides from the old insta-walls that you could do with his gadget back then (nerfed), he's perfectly fine now, in fact, he's pretty fun to use if utilised correctly. Lion, however, is a low-risk, high-reward operator, even more so when paired with operators like Dokkaebi or Jackal and Blitz.
We don't know how Alibi would affect the meta yet, there's just not much else to go on besides that you could be tagged by those holos. Maybe the holograms would shimmer or maybe they won't be that perfect of an imitation or maybe the duration of the wall hack isn't long enough to act upon unless you're really close to the attacker, in which case it would serve mostly as an alarm system.
But, if things turn out sour like they have been for me recently (Trap meta, Ela, Hacker (gets boring to play as and against) ops, Horse with a shield on its face and "Mum" (Dokkaebi), I don't think I'll last very long in the new meta.
Things just aren't as fun as it used to. I'm even tolerating Blackbeard pre-nerf more than I'm tolerating Lion. Heck, I'd rather it all go back to Operation Velvet Shell. Jackal, who everyone thought would be OP, turned out perfectly fine (with the exception of his primary which wasn't a gadget). Mira, an operator with this one ability changed the whole meta.
With all that out of the way though, I did share the same opinion as you when I first read the leak, Tengku. I just wish things were back like in the Velvet Shell days.
Sorry and thank you for letting me rant.
(All opinions were my own - though shared by others - feel free to disagree.)
